He is lured back to the limelight by a case with eerie parallels to Lindbergh matter, including the appearance of a missing ransom bill. Up against the State's best trial attorney and first female head of homicide, Gottschalk must conjure a defense for an enigmatic Burmese man who refuses to share his secrets. Flying blind, Gottschalk has no choice but to trust that justice will not elude him a second time.
