There are thousands of such quotes that can be found on the Internet. It takes a few seconds to find them using such search phrases as ‘average retirement income.’ The conclusion to be reached is that a significant portion of the population is not knowledgeable about their retirement situation, and many will have a shortfall forecasting a difficult late-stage life. Many people will have to continue to work until they cannot. Many people will continue to struggle to pay bills because of the ravages of inflation. Life will be difficult.

Suggestion: Begin implementing a plan for achieving the ‘comfortable retirement goal’ immediately. Be driven with the belief that you WILL arrive at retirement age in sound shape. The earlier you adopt this mindset, the easier it will be to achieve.
